T\u00e2rgovi\u0219te is a city with a strong historical identity, located in southern Romania, at the foothills of the Subcarpathians, and serving as the administrative center of D\u00e2mbovi\u021ba County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cultural and tourist heritage of the city is highly valuable. Among the most representative landmarks are the Princely Court, a medieval complex that includes the famous Chindia Tower, the symbol of the city and one of the most well-known historical monuments in Romania. Other important attractions include Manastirea Dealu, a significant site in national history, the Museum of Printing and Old Romanian Books, the Great Princely Church, as well as numerous museums and religious buildings that reflect the city\u2019s rich cultural life throughout the centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

T\u00e2rgovi\u0219te is also an important educational, university, and sports center, offering modern infrastructure suitable for hosting national and international events. About Competitions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The championship events include multiple categories and frequency bands (such as 144 MHz, 3.5 MHz, Foxoring, and Sprint), requiring both physical endurance and the technical and strategic skills of the participants. Competitors must quickly interpret the map, make efficient navigation decisions, and accurately track radio signals in order to locate all transmitters and complete the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosting the European Amateur Radio Direction Finding Championship is a milestone for the city of T\u00e2rgovi\u0219te and the Romanian amateur radio community. The event highlights the city\u2019s ability to organise international sporting competitions and promotes the spirit of fair play, cooperation, and cultural exchange among participants from many European countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
